Northern Roots partners with Child and Family Services agencies to support Indigenous families in Alberta. Guided by Cree-Métis ways of knowing and being, we honour each family’s identity, culture, traditions, community, and circumstances while providing tailored care that strengthens family bonds.

Northern Roots provides care as a step-by-step journey, not as separate, standalone homes:
Phase 1: Sibling Group Care – Safe, nurturing spaces designed to keep brothers and sisters together.
Phase 2: Reunification Support – Transitional care that helps families reconnect and rebuild.
Phase 3: Supportive Housing for Caregivers & Children – Long-term housing designed to promote independence and stability.
